drum guitar and bass lessons in your home and in studio

Sign up today for your summer lessons. School is nearly out for summer break and for some that means music lessons are also coming to an end. I just wanted to let everyone know that I do continue teaching throughout the season. In fact, this is the perfect time to keep yourself in shape for the upcoming school year, practice for that first seat in Jazz band, to have a new skill to show case to all your friends and to simply just have fun.

Summer lessons are flexible and can be adapted from your current day and time to a more convenient time to meet your scheduling needs. As usual, lessons are available in both your home and in studio.

Having been teaching for 20 plus years and having been a student myself, I know that schedules can get crazy sometimes. Whether you're an adult who works or the parent of a student taking lessons there is always a lot to do. When I was a young student my parents would have to drive thirty minutes to my half hour lesson and then another thirty minutes back. Every week I was making my parents take up ninety minutes of their time driving me to/from lessons, not to mention the half hour (or more) that it would take to round me and my brothers up to get us in the car. When I finally started driving myself I finally did the math and realized that I was losing an hour of practice time each week which was four to five hours a month and was also reminded that meant my parents had sacrificed double that amount of time.

My resolution on how to make more time in a day, I come to you. I teach lessons to you and/or your children in the comfort of your own home. There is need to go through what my parents did and lose that eight to ten hours a month, you might even be able to find some time for yourself! Why else are home lessons a great opportunity? Lessons are available four of the six days I teach and the huge savings you'll  have on gas, especially with the rising gas prices.

Since home lessons aren't for everyone, I do still teach studio lesson twice a week at 'The Music Workshop' in Salem NH in a studio setting. Even though I teach drum, guitar and bass lessons, only drum lessons are available in this location.

Whether you choose to have your lessons in your home or in a studio setting, the sessions are generally thirty minutes once per week and are always custom tailored to each student. As a professional musician, I recognize the importance of being well rounded and having a strong working knowledge of the fundamentals of music. This philosophy is one that I live by and something that I proudly instill in all of my students. It is an amazing feeling to know that my students can not only play a piece of music to the best of their ability, but also really know and understand what they are playing. The best part of my job though is seeing my students really enjoying the learning process and using their new found skills. If you are young or old, enjoy music and its benefits. It is never to late (or early) to learn a new skill or to even pick up where you left off. I get to live my dream of being a professional musician and teacher everyday and couldn't be more excited to be able to share that with you.

If you are interested in more information on myself, my teaching philosophy or booking your lessons, feel free to read through the site or contact me. I look forward to hearing from you!
