Its a joy to play with two very talented musicians .To be able to play with long time friends is priceless. Erick is at the top of his game and completely within his element. There isn't anyone better for this music than Hendrix himself. Erick's creativity gives me the freedom to let it fly. Jim is very passionate about music he is always eager to better himself. A great musician, entertainer and all around great guy. It is exciting to be part of this experience and to emulate two of my inspirations Mitch Mitchell and Buddy Miles. I love Mitch Mitchell's creativity and his ability to approach the music from a jazz standpoint through his improvisation. Buddy Miles' feel allows me to play with different emotion. He added a Motown/R&B vibe to the music through his distinctive grove and deep pocket. My goal is to fuse the two of their signature styles to lend a soulful fusion of funk and grit. "
